Following the February monthly club meeting, members gathered in a beachside park to celebrate World Friendship Day (1st March 2007) and to say “So long and have a safe trip” to most of the group who will shortly set off on a new adventure.

The ambassadors have now returned, having thoroughly enjoyed their 3 phase exchange. As well as meeting new friends along the way, at each of the clubs they met up with people previously hosted here on the Gold Coast. The clubs involved were Western North Carolina, Northern Illinois and Lincoln, Nebraska. The exchange was capably led by their intrepid E.D. Peter.
